ICM: Insurance Council of Manitoba

  • ICM is the regulatory body responsible for the licensing and discipline of insurance agents, brokers and adjusters in the province of Manitoba. The council has obtained its authority under a delegation from the Superintendent of Insurance in the province.
  • Priority Restoration is an accredited course provider through ICM. The Priority Restoration Learning Series courses take place twice a year, in spring and fall. As a course provider our goal is to meet the continuing education requirements for agents such as they are related to the technical aspects of general insurance.

PPMA: Professional Property Managers Association

PPMA is the sole voice for the residential rental industry in Manitoba. This association was first organized in 1984 and currently represents:

  • Nearly 60,000 rental units.
  • Over one third of the total rental universe in Manitoba and 60% within Winnipeg.
  • Both private and public sector housing.
  • 64 property owners and managers.
  • Over 105 Associate Members from the supply industry.

BOMA: Building Owners and Managers Association

  • BOMA of Manitoba actively assists real estate developers and operators of commercial office space to become more professional and accomplished in their fields, develop their expertise, as well as create better tenant environments and more stable investments for the owners.
  • BOMA represents the needs and interests of office building owners, investors, developers and managers to city, provincial and national legislative bodies. They provide a network and forum for industry professionals and service providers to discuss mutual problems, exchange ideas and share experiences and knowledge.
  • Priority Restoration is a 2011 sponsor for BOMA, and has been a proud member since 2006.
